Lazy Rock Hiking Trail

Beginning at the Bay de Verde Heritage Premises, you will begin one of the most scenic walks in Newfoundland by walking up the refurbished “Spring’ a wooden structure built on the cliff of Blundon’s Point. The Spring has been in the same spot for many years and was traditionally used to get from one part of Bayde Verde to a higher part. The trail is 3kms to the Lazy rock and 3km back.

The trail is well marked and is maintained by Heritage Bay de Verde. You will walk high above the ocean with stunning views and unbelievable views of the ocean with whales and fishing boats in plain sight.
